Parish Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month commencing at 6.30 p.m. There is no meeting in August. All meetings are open to the public other than when confidential business is being considered. At the start of every meeting there is an opportunity for the public to express views on issues prior to the agenda items. In December we hold a finance meeting to set the budget for the following year.
Details of meetings are posted on the notice boards at least three days before meetings. Agendas, approved minutes, annual reports, quarterly newsletters are all available from the Clerk. Documents can also be found on this web site.
Borough Councillors have regular surgeries and residents can make appointments with them to discuss any issues of concern. Borough Councillor details can be found on this site and surgery dates and venue are in the diary.
The Parish Council's budget is set each December whereby the needs of the village in the forthcoming year are discussed and priorities assessed and agreed. The budget (precept) is raised by the Borough Council through the council tax.
